چکیده

The kinetics in blood of autologous neuin whole blood for 1-2 days, posttransfutrophils collected by phlebotomy, filtration sian recoveries and blood half-times were leukapheresis (FL), or intermittent-flow significantly decreased. Storage of both centrifugation (IFC), labeled with 32PIFC and FL preparations resulted in only diisopropylfluorophosphate, and stored at moderate kinetic abnormalities in corn4#{176}C for up to 2 days were measured in 41 parison to the unstored cells. These studies normal subjects. Mean initial recovery for indicate that the ability of unstored IFC unstored IFC cells was 34.0%, compared cells to circulate is basically normal, to 7.9% for unstored FL cells. Blood halfwhereas that of unstored FL cells is signifilives were 4.1 and 2.7 hr for unstored cantly impaired. The data further suggest IFC and FL cells, respectively. With neutrothat these neutrophil concentrates might phils collected by phlebotomy and stored be stored for 1-2 days prior to transfusion.

Isolation, Cloning and High- Level Expression of Neutrophil Gelatinase-Associated Lipocalin Lipocalin2 by Baculovirus Expression System through Gateway Technology

Objective(s) Lipocalin 2 (Lcn2) is a 25-kDa glycoprotein that has initially been extracted from neutrophil granules. Expression of Lcn2 is induced under various pathophysiological conditions. It is also known as an early marker of kidney and heart injury. High-level expression of recombinant Lcn2 neutrophil gelatinase-associated(NGAL) in insect cells was the aim of this study. Materials and M...

Neutrophil transfusion: effect of storage and of collection method of neutrophil blood kinetics.

The kinetics in blood of autologous neutrophils collected by phlebotomy, filtration leukapheresis (FL), or intermittent-flow centrifugation (IFC), labeled with 32P-diisopropylfluorophosphate, and stored at 4 degrees C for up to 2 days were measured in 41 normal subjects. Mean initial recovery for unstored IFC cells was 34.0%, compared to 7.9% for unstored FL cells. Blood half-lives were 4.1 and...

The effect of SARS-COV-2 infection on the hematological markers

Background and Aim: The novel coronavirus 2019 can lead to a vast range of respiratory complications, from mild to severe, driving to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Common symptoms of Covid-19 include fever, fatigue, and dry cough, which can lead to complications, such as gastrointestinal disorders, and liver, cardiac, and renal dysfunctions. Alteration in the hematological markers...

EFFECT OF β-HUMAN CHORIONIC GONADOTROPIN (β-HCG) ON NEUTROPHIL FUNCTIONS

Many findings point to the presence of a close relationship between the immune, endocrine and neurologic systems. For example the suppressive effects of β-human chorionic gonadotropin (β-HCG) on IL-l production, the potentiative effect of enkephalins on lymphocyte functions and the suppressive effect of leuteinizing hormone (LH) on natural killer (NK) cell activities have been clearly esta...

Effect of recombinant granulocyte colony-stimulating factor on neutrophil kinetics in normal young and elderly humans.

Recombinant granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) was administered to healthy young (n = 32) and elderly (n = 19) volunteers (0 microgram/d, 30 microgram/d, or 300 microgram/d) to determine its effect on neutrophil production, blood kinetics, and tissue migration. Measurements included blood counts (daily), marrow neutrophil pool sizes and neutrophil tissue migration (baseline and day 5...
